On the eve of Shrove Tuesday, Ayurvedic chef and nutritionist Volker Mehl will let us take a look into his pots via Zoom at 6.30 pm and invites interested people and cooking addicts to join him. Registration is not necessary. The Korian Foundation for Care and Ageing with Dignity has launched together with Volker Mehl, who has already published numerous cookbooks, and the health insurance company BKK Pro Vita the project "GaumenPflege" (Palate Care), which particularly targets caregivers.
"Well-balanced nutrition plays an important role for both health and well-being. But in the stressful daily care routine, there is often not enough time to look for wholesome recipes and cook accordingly. We at the Korian Foundation have therefore designed the nutrition project "GaumenPflege (Palate Care)", whose recipes are easy to cook and fit perfectly into the stressful everyday life of caregivers. In Volker Mehl, we have found an expert who not only has extensive knowledge, but who also makes people want to try out new dishes. Eating should be fun - and you can experience that for yourself live on the eve of Shrove Tuesday," explains Elisabeth Scharfenberg, director of the foundation.
The link to the live event can be found on the homepage of the Korian Foundation https://www.korian-stiftung.de/rezepte-gaumenpflege. Simply click on it and join in the cooking.
Those who are not able to attend, have the opportunity to take part in the various cooking courses of "GaumenPflege (Palate Care)" or to follow the podcast. At any time, online and free of charge at https://www.korian-stiftung.de/rezepte-gaumenpflege.
